Frequently asked questions
What counts as a "document"? ↓
A document is any single piece of text you submit for analysis — a research paper, a clinical trial report, a patent, an internal study, a news article. Length does not matter. A 50-page paper and a 2-page abstract both count as one document. The document limit resets each calendar month.
What is the 14-day free trial? ↓
You get full access to your chosen plan for 14 days without entering a credit card. At the end of the trial you decide whether to subscribe. If you do not subscribe, your account and all discoveries are deleted after 7 days. There is no automatic charge.
Are my documents private and secure? ↓
Yes. Your documents are never used to train any model, never shared with other customers, and never used for any purpose beyond running your analysis. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. On Team plans you can also self-host Jinvera on your own infrastructure, meaning your documents never leave your network.
What if Jinvera does not find anything useful? ↓
That is what the 30-Day Discovery Guarantee is for. If your first corpus upload does not surface at least one connection you had not previously identified, we refund your first month in full. No process, no questions. The quality of discoveries improves significantly with more documents — 10 papers produce candidates, 100 papers produce discoveries, 1,000 papers produce breakthroughs.
Can I cancel at any time? ↓
Yes. Cancel from your account settings at any time. You keep access until the end of the billing period you have paid for. There are no cancellation fees and no lock-in contracts on monthly plans. Annual plans are non-refundable after 30 days, consistent with standard SaaS practice.
Is there an additional cost for the AI reading service? ↓
No. Your Jinvera subscription covers all processing costs including the AI reading service. You do not need your own OpenAI account or API key on any hosted plan. If you choose to self-host, you will need your own API key — typical cost is $1 to $5 per 100 documents.
